We take payments through our payment partner GoCardless with GoCardless the payment is taken after the job has been completed and never before or on a recurring basis. Once you’ve set up the link (which takes less than a minute to do) you never need to worry about making payment to us again. After we complete a job for you, you will receive an e-mail notification from GoCardless informing you that payment will be taken from your account in around 4 working days time (they'll specify the exact date)

GoCardless is fully FCA regulated and comes with all the usual direct debit guarantees. Our work also comes with our Kin Kan Do 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, so if there are ever any issues, we'll come back and rectify it free of charge - as always.

We have chosen to use GoCardless as our payment method because it helps streamline our systems which in turn allows us to focus more on providing a great service to our customers, rather than spending time on administration - which is of no benefit to anyone.

We take payments through our card payment partner Stripe. With Stripe the payment is taken after the job has been completed and never before or on a recurring basis. Once the nominated card has been provided you never need to worry about making payment to us again. After we complete a job for you, your payment will be made a few days later and you will receive a receipt to the email address provided.

Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, they must make use of best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security at Stripe.


Payment FAQ's


Can I pay by BACS, cash or cheque?

We cannot accept BACS, cash or cheque payment options because we are dealing with a high number of small transactions on a daily basis and therefore it would be very difficult and expensive for us to keep track of payments and chase late payments.


I provided card details to pay for the first clean, what happens next?

Both our payment methods (debit/credit card and GoCardless) are safe, secure and automated to take payment once a clean is completed.  Once you have provided card details, further payments will be taken from the nominated card and you will receive Stripe receipts by email for each transaction. If you ever wish to change your selected credit or debit card or switch payment method, this is not a problem at all.


You said you do not take payment in advance so why are you sending me a link that directs me to set up GoCardless?

We email you a link from GoCardless at the time of the booking should you decide this is your preferred payment method, but you do not need to set this up immediately as we never take payment up front. Once you have confirmed to us that you wish to go ahead with our services, we send you a comprehensive email detailing our services and payment methods so that you have all this information to hand and there are no surprises. 


Why do you not quote prices including VAT?

We are VAT registered but always quote prices excluding VAT as the VAT rate is subject to change, but it is currently 20%.
